This project on Cantonese language and cultures was co-initiated by Dr. King-Kok Cheung (Professor Emeritus of the Department of English at UCLA) and Dr. Min Zhou (tenured Professor of Sociology and Asian American Studies at UCLA and Director of the Asia Pacific Center). The goal is to utilize teaching, cultural promotion and community cooperation to advance the inheritance and development of Cantonese.
